“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 – 1882)

Heather has lived in Calgary since 2004, and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from McMaster University with a focus in Social Cultural and Medical Anthropology.
She has been active in sports her entire life, recently playing competitive squash. An injury from the sport brought Heather to her dedicated practice of yoga. Not only did she find it to be a great workout, she soon realized yoga’s inherent depth, benefits, and history. Heather has been eager to learn and share ever since. She has taken 300 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, recognized by Yoga Alliance and has recently been certified to teach Pre Natal Yoga. Other personal interests include cooking, orchid cultivation, and cycling.

She is excited to be a part of the Soul Connexion family.

Q & A with Heather

What inspires you?

I never cease to be inspired by nature – it’s the ‘perfect and imperfect’ perfection, the beauty, simplicity, and intricate designs we find in our world.

What song moves you?

Mozart composed lovely music! Many of his compositions resonate peacefully with my body, mind and soul.

What do you love about your job?

I love that I have the opportunity to share my passion for yoga, overall health, and balanced well being. Offering a safe, encouraging environment may help students on their journey of health, healing, and discovery.
