“If it’s important to you, you will find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.”

Program Manager

Marissa values the importance of health and wellness and began her own fitness journey in 2007 when she made the commitment to lose 60 lbs. Struggling with body image for many years, this was a pivotal moment in her life.

Born and raised in Southern Ontario, she made the big move to Calgary in January 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a specialization in Psychology, at Western University in 2011.

She currently owns her own Professional Organizing company and is an active member of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC.) She helps busy individuals and families simplify, purge and declutter their homes and lives. Doing this part-time has allowed her to do what she is passionate about. She has been with Soul Connexion since October 2014 and she absolutely loves her position as Program Manager. Not only does it compliment her work as an organizer, but she is learning many valuable skills that can be applied to her role as a small business owner.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys being outdoors – whether it be camping, hiking, swimming or boating. She is a fan of road trips, the mountains, discovering new places and spending time with her hubby and two mastiffs.
