Pam Thomson - Hatha, Power, Vinyassa & Yoga Funk
Yoga found Pam at a time in her life when she was recovering from a knee injury and looking for a way to holistically strengthen her body with minimum strain on her joints. Pam found herself constantly drawn back to the mat with the practice becoming much more than just a series of postures – the practice evolved into a flowing meditation where she learned to accept herself and her body and left the class feeling calmer and clearer.
In 2008, Pam completed her teacher training at the Yoga Passage with Tracey Mann, Leritta Rubinoff and Tanis Fishman. Through this training, she gained a deeper understanding of asana, meditation, alignment and breath. Pam will be forever grateful to the teachers she has had over the years that have helped her to be where she is today.
Pam teaches a vinyasa/flow style of yoga with emphasis on proper alignment and linking each movement with every breath. She hopes through her teaching students will discover a body / mind awareness, contentment within and balance in their lives both on and off the mat.
