Classes: Lyrical and Tap

Sarah is an experienced dancer with over eighteen years of competitive training. She has successfully competed both locally and regionally and in 2005, performed a group piece that won Dance Power’s Western Canadian Championships. She has had the privilege to train with internationally acclaimed dancers and choreographers who have worked with Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Brittney Spears, to name a few. Recently, Sarah had the honour of taking a class from Suga Pop of the Electric Boogaloos.

For the past six years, Sarah found fulfillment sharing her knowledge through instruction at studios as well as through the Calgary Board of Education. She loves sharing her passion with students of all ages and abilities. In addition to Sarah’s extensive dance background, she has experience in music and acting. She completed the Grade 8 Piano Royal Conservatory of Music syllabus and has sung in various choirs and bands over the years, including jazz bands and vocal jazz ensembles. Most recently, Sarah has taken an interest in acting and performed as a Keystone Cop at the Calgary International Children’s Festival last year. Sarah is currently a student at the University of Calgary and is working towards a Bachelors of Commerce with a major in Marketing and a Minor in Dance.
