How to Properly Measure Each Dancer

Chest/Bust

Wrap the measuring tape on the widest part of the chest and go under the armpits all the way around.

Waist

Find the bottom of the ribs and top of the hips (roughly belly button height/smallest area on the torso) and measure all the way around.

Hips

Have them put their feel together and wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of the hip area.

Girth

Have the dancer stand with their feet spread apart and wrap the measuring tape under their crotch area and up around the opposite shoulder. Measure all the way around.

Inseam

Only measure for costumes that need specific pants. Have the dancer
