Amanda Lancaster A.R.A.D.Â
Amanda began dancing in Fort St. John when she was 4 years old. Her extensive training includes Ballet (R.A.D.), Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics (all C.T.D.A.), Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Variety, and Musical Theatre. She has performed in a number of Ballets and Musicals including The Nutcracker, Chicago, and Cabaret, she has done some on screen work including a music video for Marianas Trench. She has studied at schools such as Kelowna Ballet, Vancouver Tap Society, Fusion Dance Company, Debbie Reynolds in L.A., Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver, Jason Thomas Dance in Cornwall, England, and Trapeze Las Vegas.
Amanda especially loves sharing her passion for dance through teaching and choreography. Her purpose lies within helping students find a connection to mind, body, and soul, through dance. She began assisting in classes at age 13 and by 15 years old she was teaching and running her own dance program in a neighbouring community. Amanda has taught at a variety of studios in Northern BC, the Lower Mainland, the Okanagan, England and Calgary. Amanda is looking forward to working with the students and is excited to be part of the team at Soul Connexion.Â
