Miss Maddy started dancing when she was just three years old and hasn't stopped since! She has trained both competitively and recreationally in a variety of dance styles including Jazz, HipHop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary and Ballet, including her Grade 8 RAD Ballet Exam.
She has choreographed and performed in many performances over the years including Disney's Imagination Campus as well as many Showcases, Competitions, Pep Rallys, and Dance festivals such as the Que Pasa Spanish Festival, East Side Dance Festival, and Calgary's Hip Hop and Street Dance Festival! Her teaching journey started in 2023 when she began as a student teacher. She instantly fell in love with sharing her knowledge and passion with the students which led to a decision to pursue an Education degree. She worked as a student teacher for 3 years and recently completed an apprentice teaching program in 2026.
Miss Maddy is currently in the process of completing her Bachelors of Elementary Fine Arts Education at the University of Calgary to achieve her dream of becoming a school teacher by day and a dance teacher by night! She is excited for her first year of teaching at Soul Connexion and can't wait to share and help others discover the same love for dance!

I am inspired by my mom, my sister, and all the other strong women in my life!

I love that I get to share my love for dance and watch my students grow, make connections and discover themselves!
