Dance Teacher
Trishana Pham
Miss Trishana has been teaching dance for over 8 seasons now, some previously at Soul Connexion, and she just grows to LOVE it more and more each year. She's been a competitive dancer at Soul Connexion between 2017-2020 as well, and returning to the studio is an opportunity that is super exciting for her, and she can't wait to meet new dancers and build the beautiful dance relationships she cherishes.
She has just made the move back home from Vancouver and worked in local studios in the competitive division particularly in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and acro for the past five years. She is Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, and NCCP certified and loves working with tumblers and acrobats! Her favourite genre shifts from year to year, but she's in a huge lyrical and acro kick at the moment. She prides herself on the ability to foster and maintain long lasting relationships with her dancers, supporting them in life in and out of the studio, hoping to help them flourish as kind, confident human beings.Â
Q & A with Trishana
What inspires you?
The relationships with my dancers inspire me the most. I love fostering relationships through the years watching beautiful dancers grow into beautiful humans, and I love meeting new dancers and being an exciting part of their week.
What song moves you?
I LOVE "The Bird Song" by Noah Floeursch. It's so unique and has so much meaning and texture.
What do you love about your job?
I love making a difference in my dancers' lives. I love when they feel as though the studio is their safe space away from anything else, and that I can help them feel at home. Also, working towards choreography together is my favourite part, especially watching them make it come to life every year!
